This 5K is more than a event for our family. It's an opportunity to honor Owen Petrzelka and support the mission of the ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation.

Owen was sweet, thoughtful, kind, and incredibly brave. He touched the lives of so many people through his strength, positivity, and the way he cared for others, even while facing challenges that no child should ever have to endure. Participating in this event in his honor is a small way to celebrate the impact he made and help carry forward his legacy.

DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) is one of the deadliest forms of childhood cancer. This aggressive brain tumor affects the brainstem, and families facing a DIPG diagnosis are met with limited treatment options and an urgent need for more research.

The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation is working to change that by funding groundbreaking research and raising awareness about this devastating disease. I'm proud to support this mission and grateful for any contribution you can make.

Together, we can honor Owen, support families facing DIPG, and help advance the search for better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
